Nationwide Travelling role £44,000 - £49,000 per annum plus overtime
Job Summary: The Security Tagging System Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security tagging systems across our customers retail sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain security tagging systems, including hardware and software components.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of security tagging systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tagging systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications:
Experience in installing and maintaining security tagging systems.
Strong knowledge of electronic article surveillance (EAS) technology, including acousto-magnetic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Experience with Sensormatic security systems is an advantage
These roles will be travelling positions and travel anywhere within the UK could be required on a regular basis
