Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a prestigious SME, based in Winchester, in their search for an Interim Financial Controller on a 12 month contract to cover a secondment in the team.
Salary - £46-52,000 p/a
On-site working - free parking
Key Responsibilities include:
Preparation of month-end and year-end up accounts up to trial balance.
Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations as required, journals and ledger maintenance.
Monthly reconciliation of the prepayments & accruals
In-depth checking of monthly accounts to ensure accuracy.
Producing monthly management accounts, including commentary & strategic review for Board level.
Key Skills/Experience include:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) OR QBE
A good understanding of VAT and tax matters.
Ability to prepare and report on financial reports & management accounts to a high level of detail.
Sound knowledge of accounting software applications, particularly Sage Accounts.
