Year End Accountant in Oxford - CV-Library

A prominent Housing Association that has been going for 20 + years are looking for a Year-End Accountant to join their collaborative, passionate team.

The organisation provides affordable, safe homes, predominantly across Oxford. They put a strong emphasis on tenant and worker satisfaction, resulting in an environment that is enjoyable and provides opportunities to grow and develop.

Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
Maintaining the accuracy of the balance sheet
Preparation of audit working papers and helping with accruals, prepayments and Trial Balances
Knowledge of Management Accounts / Business Plans desirable but not essential

Requirements:

Experience of Year-End Accounts within a Housing Association
Technically strong and the ability to work relatively independently
Strong initiative, curiosity and drive with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high attention to detail
To be highly numerate and computer literate with strong excel skills
