Clerk of Works in York - CV-Library

Contract Details:

Location: York
Start: As soon as possible, ideally in January
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: 1-year contract, with the possibility of extension
Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising the construction of two main bridges and other structures.
Ensuring all construction work is carried out in accordance with design specifications
Monitoring site activities to maintain compliance with project plans and standards
Liaising with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery
Providing detailed reports on progress, quality, and any issues arising on-site
Conducting site inspections and ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
Assisting in the resolution of any design or construction issues that may arise
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all site activities
