Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Plant Supervisor to join their busy Avonmouth plant. This is a dynamic, multi-skilled role perfect for someone with strong time and task management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to perform well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Ordering raw materials and managing stock levels

*

Overseeing shift handovers and ensuring staff complete necessary tasks

*

Collaborating on transport planning and maintaining communication with the Head Office

*

Managing shift and holiday planning

*

Enforcing Health & Safety policies across the plant

*

Handling driver-related issues (tachographs, drivers’ hours, working time)

*

Supervising plant operatives and their activities

Experience and skills required:

*

Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.

*

Strong time and task management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

*

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

*

Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and ability to enforce policies.

*

Experience in transport planning and managing driver regulations (tachographs, working hours).

*

Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

*

High attention to detail and focus on accuracy.

*

Flexibility to be available for weekend emergency support.

*

Full UK driving license.

*

Positive, results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving goals.

Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant, working Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability for emergency support. This is an exciting and challenging role, ideal for someone who is positive, results-driven, and detail-oriented.

A company vehicle is provided for work use, and the starting salary for this position is £39,899.
