Yard Operative (Customer Facing) in North Yorkshire - CV-Library

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our client in LS9. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the yard and ensuring that materials and equipment are organized and readily available for construction projects. In addition to this you will speak with customers face to face, assisting with their orders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain the yard, including the storage of materials and equipment.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed for various projects.
- Speak directly with customers and assist with their orders.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills:

- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic machinery and equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- FLT licence in date or lapsed would be of advantage
