Are you an experienced Company Secretary looking for a role that offers exposure to the heart of a fast-paced and dynamic entertainment business? This leading gaming company is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary to play a vital role in supporting the Company Secretary, working closely with senior leadership, and embedding strong governance principles across the organisation.

This is your chance to work alongside the CEO and CFO while contributing to high-level corporate governance initiatives in a company that values innovation, collaboration, and employee well-being.

What You'll Be Doing:

Ensure statutory compliance for the Group's UK operating companies and liaise with overseas offices on compliance matters.
Assist the Company Secretary in organising and minuting subsidiary board meetings.
Contribute to the Governance Report for the Group Annual Report and liaise with external auditors during the verification process.
Support the preparation of the Group's AGM and any extraordinary general meetings.
Maintain accurate statutory registers and subsidiary records on GEMS.
Collaborate with the finance team on year-end processes, ensuring compliance with Directors' Reports and filing requirements.
Act as a point of contact for shareholder queries, dividends, share allotments, and legacy matters.
Provide guidance and supervision to the Company Secretarial Assistant.

What We're Looking For:

Corporate Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) qualified.
Extensive UK company secretarial experience with a strong understanding of corporate governance issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
A detail-oriented, analytical, and well-organised approach to work.
Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Confidence to support high-profile company staff and board members.
