Reporting Accountant in Great Abington - CV-Library

We have partnered exclusively with one of our biotech clients based in South Cambridge who are currently recruiting for a Reporting Accountant to join on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract. Our client can offer a hybrid working model, and to be successful, you will have experience in a similar position.

Typical duties include:

* Producing reports financial reports and ensure they adhere to UK GAAP or IFRS where applicable

* Ensuring statutory accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner

* Supporting with any audit processes

* Preparing budgets, forecasts, and providing variance analysis where necessary

* Supporting FP&A activities when required

* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks where required to support the wider team

You will have:

* A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

* A strong technical skillset

* Attention to detail and good knowledge of accounting principles

* Experience within a practice environment would be preferred although not compulsory (Ideally ‘Big 4”)
