Part time Kitchen Assistant in Colchester - CV-Library

A Secondary school in Colchester urgently seeks an experienced Kitchen assistant for a long term part time contract.

The school is based in the Shrub End area of Colchester which is easily accessible by public transport.

Hours will be 11.15am - 1.45pm (2.5 hours per day) 5 days per week totalling 12.5 hours per week.

Duties include -

Prepare and cook food for the pupils

Serve the students from the hatch or from a trolley or kiosk

Undertake all aspect of cleaning

Make sure that the dining tables are cleaned

To maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene

Ideally you will hold a Food and Hygiene qualification Level 2, but the school will give you training via their National College Portal if you do not hold this qualification

The role is due to start mid January 2025 and interview will be conducted on 9th January 2025.
