Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Essex

Package: £70,000 per annum and travel

Skilled Careers are working with a Main Contractor that specialise within the Residential sector are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on an MOJ Project based in Essex.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor must have experience within Commercial, it is not essential to have MOJ experience.

Responsibilities

To maximise the planned gross margin on projects and support the achievement of the project's budgeted profitability.

Tender, evaluate, recommend and appoint consultants, subcontractors and to place orders for materials and plant all within delegated authorities.

To implement policies for price, costs and gross margins.

To measure and value work to support the invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers within delegated authorities.

Requirements

Ideally has experience with the Commercial sector.

Drivers Licence required.

Has worked for a well established Main Contractor.
