Job Purpose:

To provide a prompt service, principally on the safe storage of all parts associated with the business and effective service on System Transactions and control the supply of inventory (Stock Control).

Key Responsibilities:

To store all materials and equipment in defined locations.
Correctly handle all Stores materials using appropriate equipment as per defined working practices.
To utilize the Business system to transact and physically receipt, issue and return materials as required.
To understand and communicate effectively at all levels, on all materials, equipment, procedures, methods, techniques, working practices and objectives of the Stores and associated areas.
Maintain Stores accuracy and also ensure compliance with cycle count requirements.
To assist in the prompt resolution of problems affecting the cost, quality, delivery and safety objectives of the Stores.
To work with Management and other Departments on continually improved methods, systems and techniques for efficiency, service and safety of the Stores.

Education:

Educated to GCSE – Maths, English
IT Literate

Knowledge and Skills:

Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
· Materials handling training
· To have a working knowledge of PC’s
· A full clean driving & fork lift truck license
· Previous stores & warehouse experience
