We are assisting one of North Kent’s most respected and progressive Electrical businesses in their search for an Electrical Supervisor who is happy to be ‘on the tools’ and who possesses commercial project experience.
The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis – working an 8-hour day, Monday to Friday.
As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be overseeing commercial installation and repair projects whilst working on site and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and current BS7671 standards. The role will also involve supervision of a team of engineers, whilst coordinating with the office and completing test certification to BS7671 regs.
Most of the work is based around North Kent and the southern boroughs of Greater London.
Duties and responsibilities required of the Electrical Supervisor are:
* Lead and assist with the day-to-day running of commercial installation projects
* Ensuring all work, and engineers comply with BS7671 standards
* Oversee and enforce all Health & Safety regulations
* Planning resources and ordering of materials
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
* Ensure smooth communications between site and office
* Complete test certification on site to meet BS7671 standards
* Complete toolbox tools
* Assisting with training and upskilling
The requirements for the role:
* Hands on commercial electrical experience gained at Supervisory level
* Level 3 award BS7671 (Inc. 2nd amendment)
* C&G 2391 (or equivalent)
* A proven ability to correctly interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
* Demonstrable experience gained with commercial installations and testing
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Good IT literacy and experience using NICEIC testing software
