Residential Property Conveyancer/Executive

Location: West Yorkshire
Type: Full-time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer/Executive to join a dynamic team in Wakefield. This role offers the chance to manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters, handling both freehold and leasehold transactions. Key Responsibilities:

Manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters from file opening to completion.
Handle freehold and leasehold transactions with minimal supervision.
Advise clients on legal matters and take detailed instructions.
Prepare and obtain file documentation, ensuring accuracy throughout the process.
Bill files and obtain payments due from clients and other parties.
Provide delegated supervision to junior staff as required.
Ensure compliance with firm procedures and accounts policies.
Maintain legal knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry changes.Key Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience in a similar residential conveyancing role.
Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing, with experience in both freehold and leasehold transactions.
Proficient in Windows, Word, and Excel.
Ability to communicate complex legal issues in a concise, customer-friendly manner.
Excellent written and spoken English for handling client queries and preparing documentation.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
A client-focused approach, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships
