Job Description
 
Take responsibility for avionics and electrical maintenance and manufacturing of modern aircrafts as an Avionics/Electrical Workshop Engineer.
 
This organisation works with novel technologies and a specialised varied fleet of aircrafts also focuses on the maintenance of both commercial and defence aircrafts. They emphasise the importance of personal and professional development with their varied support schemes and annual salary reviews.
 
You will be responsible for electrical/avionic maintenance activities and manufacturing tasks, essential to the effective delivery of customer contractual requirements.
 
About the role:

To maintain the overall performance of the Avionic Workshop.
Assist the Workshop Team Leader in being responsible for all Part-145 C-rated electrical/avionic maintenance activities and Part-21 Electrical/Electronic manufacturing tasks.
Provide support to the team with engineering decisions relating to the components.About you:

Previous experience within aircraft maintenance Base/Workshops are desirable.
Apprenticeship or HM Forces equivalent training certification.
Previous working experience within an Aviation facility in a production environment.
Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance is essential.Key information:

You will be successful in this role if you are a skilled Avionics Workshop Engineer looking to work on modern and more sustainable aircrafts.
 
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
