We have a great opportunity for an experienced Contracts Surveyor to join our Asset Management team here at Community Housing.

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be required to provide an excellent level of technical expertise on cyclical, major work and planned investment programmes, ensuring a high-quality level of work is delivered safely whilst achieving excellent customer service for customer and stakeholders alike.

As a Contract Surveyor some of your main responsibilities will include:

To provide technical support to colleagues and customers through inspection, report writing, works specifications and planned investment works throughout the community housing stock.

Support the Asset Manager to supervise on-site construction works including inspections to determine where work is required, preparing work schedules and specifications, preparing financial reports and completing post inspections and completed works.

Surveying property owned by Community Housing and checking existing data for the property Asset Management Database

Our ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrable experience of a successful delivery of Decent Homes investment programmes, ideally including the delivery of Disabled Facilities, Grant works, and Aids and Adaptations improvements.
