Job Role: Assembly Operative
Location: Wigston, Leicestershire
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £11.44 - £12.00 per hour depending on experience + overtime

Our client: Our client is seeking Assembly Operatives to join their team in the Wigston area. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for working within a manufacturing environment, using hand and power tools, following written and verbal assembly instructions to build and assemble large components.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assembling components and products according to production guidelines (written and verbal)
Use hand and power tools
Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
Help with boxing and packaging products ready for shipping
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targetsExperience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Competent in the use of hand and power tools is essential (electric drills, screwdrivers, hammers etc)
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocolsDay-to-day:

Prepare work areas by setting up equipment and tools
Assemble components and inspect finished products
Heavy lifting
Maintain a clean and organized working environment
Communicate and collaborate with team members to meet production goals
