We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent firm of accountants with over 30 years of experience, who are looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their Rotherham office. This firm offers a supportive work environment and manages a diverse client portfolio.
This role presents a great opportunity for a skilled accountant to take on a senior position within a respected firm, gaining exposure to a wide range of audit and accounting functions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
* Assisting with client audits from planning through to completion
* Preparing statutory accounts and management accounts
* Producing management information and financial reports
* Handling corporate and personal tax compliance
* Providing training and advice on accounting software
* Offering commercial business support and consultancy
* Assisting in staff development and training
Skills and Experience Required:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the accountancy profession
* Prior audit experience is highly desirable
* Strong technical skills in audit, tax, and financial reporting
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
