General Foreman in Exeter - CV-Library

We are working with a main contractor who are recruiting a General Foreman for highways and structures projects up to £10m in the local area. The contractor is one of the country’s largest and is renowned for their culture, excellence in delivery and development of people. Their turnover is set to pass £400m with projects thriving in highways, environment and construction across the country.

They have a secure workload in the South West region working with local authorities and Network Rail on projects up to £30m.

One of the upcoming projects you will be involved in is a £10m new road project with new drainage systems, traffic signalling, as well as pedestrian and cycle facilities.

General Foreman duties include:

* Complete plant requisitions, off-hiring plant and subcontractors when required

* Ensure work is being completed in accordance to the RAMS

* Working with the Project Manager, Site Agent and commercial team to coordinate site activities

* Lead by example promoting health, safety, quality and environment

* Manage all sub contractors and internal Foreman and Supervisors
