Our client, a reputable and growing company based in Dereham, is looking to expand their team in the new year with the addition of a Finance Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work within a close-knit team and support the smooth operation of the full finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly management accounts.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
Support with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist with payroll processing and preparation of VAT returns.
Handle queries from suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role is desirable.
AAT qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
