Our client, are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team!

Mechanical Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

* Create folding, bushing, and drawings and jig designs from existing files to assist manufacturing

* Conduct New Product Introduction (NPI) investigations

* Instruct and implement new manufacturing methods directly to router/works orders

* Review existing manufacturing processes and Implement improvements where, monitoring production to ensure quality

* Provide quotes when necessary to aid in the understanding of the NPI process and if commercial demand requires additional resources on quoting

The ideal Mechanical Engineer will:

* Be proficient in 3D modelling software, CAD software

* Be able to develop solid models to create flat blank DXF and supportive engineering drawings from customer's solid model files

* Having worked in a hand on role would be beneficial

* Completed a technical (engineering-related) apprenticeship, engineering course or (Diploma/Degree) etc.
