Job Description
Quality Inspector required to work for manufacturing business based in Thame. Immediate start for the right candidate.
Reporting to our Quality Manager, you will be the key focal point for daily inspection of products
manufactured in-house or by the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out dimensional and cosmetic inspection of goods manufactured in-house or by the
supply chain.
Maintain daily inspection figures/reports.
Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports for goods manufactured in-house.
Inspection and verification of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports submitted by the supply
chain.
Support in the identification and handling of non-conforming (NC) product.
Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support customer schedules.
Communicate effectively & professionally with Customers, Suppliers & Colleagues.
Any other duties that may be required from time to time to support the business.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings & Specifications.
Experience in using handheld inspection equipment, rules, verniers etc. - not critical as training
will be provided
Keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude.
Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task & manage own time to meet required deadlines.
