Carpentry and Joinery Teacher

Salary: £33k - £39/ annum (+ additional £6k)
Location: Moulton
Employment Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

You would carry out formal scheduled teaching.
See that students are working towards their assessments and are on track with their qualifications.
Act as a personal tutor to a group of students.
Develop and prepare learning and assessment materials, current to industry.
Provide advice, guidance and feedback relating to the training and assessment process Requirements: 

Hold a minimum of level 3 in Carpentry/Joinery (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Advanced Craft (or equivalent) and recognised Carpentry/Joinery qualifications)
Experience teaching, asserting or working with students/apprentices.
Ideally, hold a teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or be willing to work towards within 12 months.)
You will need a Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English.
You will need to already have OR be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check before starting work What’s in it for you?
