A local food Manufacturing company who are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their team.

Purpose of Role – Maintenance Manager
• Managing a small Maintenance Engineering Team
• Create and maintain a planned, preventative maintenance programme (PPM)
• React, diagnose and fix machinery
• Fault find and diagnostics
• Manage and negotiate supplier contracts
• To deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established level of servicing
• To control all Engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing
• This position will be very hands on, you will be expected to get involved with fixing and repair of machinery.

Candidate requirements – Maintenance Manager
The ideal candidate must come from the engineering industry as a Maintenance Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
• Ideally hold an electrical qualification such as C&G, HNC, HND or similar
• Experience gained in a manufacturing environment ideally within Food or FMCG type business
• Have a hands on and pro-active approach to engineering
