Creative Artworker

Location: Hybrid with 1-2 days per week in our Bradford office
Salary: up to £28,000 depending on experience

Full-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours p/w

Join our Communications and Marketing team as a Creative Artworker, where your technical expertise and creative flair will help bring our design ideas to life. This is a unique opportunity to shape compelling visual content for advertising, print, and digital channels, all while adhering to our brand's identity and values.

The Role

As a Creative Artworker, you will be the bridge between design and production. Your role is to ensure the seamless execution of creative concepts, transforming design ideas into print-ready and digital materials. You'll work closely with designers, stakeholders, and production teams, bringing your technical expertise and attention to detail to every project.

Key Responsibilities

Artworking & Production:

* Prepare print-ready files, ensuring accurate bleed, crop marks, and colour formats (CMYK/Pantone).

* Create optimized digital assets for web, social media, and other online platforms.

* Adapt creative designs into multiple formats and dimensions while maintaining design consistency.

Brand Compliance:

* Ensure all artwork adheres to brand guidelines, reflecting the tone, style, and visual identity of the organization.

* Tailor designs to meet the specific needs of our diverse customer base.

Workflow & Quality Control:

* Manage workload effectively, meeting tight deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed.

* Conduct proofreading and quality checks to deliver flawless final outputs.

Collaboration:

* Work closely with designers and team members to interpret and refine creative concepts.

* Provide creative input and technical solutions to enhance project outcomes.

About You:

Qualifications & Experience

* Educated to A-level or equivalent through relevant training.

* Evidence of continued professional development.

* Proven experience in creative artworking across advertising, print, and digital media.

* Skills in managing workflows and delivering to tight deadlines.

* Proofreading and quality control expertise.

* Experience in video production and editing is desirable but not essential.

Practical & Technical Knowledge

Adobe Creative Suite Expertise:

* Photoshop: Image editing, retouching, and optimization.

* Illustrator: Vector graphics, illustrations, and logo adjustments.

* InDesign: Layout design for brochures, reports, and other print materials.

Artworking Processes:

* Preparing print-ready files with accuracy.

* Creating digital assets optimised for various platforms.

Planning & Organisation:

* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Communication & Influence

* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with designers and stakeholders.

* Clear and professional communication to ensure project success.
