Job Description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a well-established Property Management company based in Nottingham. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Maintenance Manager to effectively manage and oversee the successful delivery of a number of maintenance projects across Nottingham.

The successful candidate will manage a team of Maintenance Professionals and oversee all maintenance work completed by the company. They will ensure properties meet Health, Safety, and Fire Regulation requirements, and assist the Management team with budgeting, invoices, and quotes.

Their ideal candidate will have experience managing a team within General Maintenance, be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and have demonstrable Property Management experience.

Due to the nature of the role, a full, clean UK driving licence will be required to apply for the role.

For the position, the company is offering a generous salary of up to c£40,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package including commission and a company vehicle, laptop, and phone.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Manage a diverse maintenance team of multi-skilled Trades professionals

* Oversee all company maintenance works

* Ensure all properties meet the required Health, Safety, and Fire Regulation requirements

* Assist Property Managers with annual budgeting and maintenance works

* Managing contractors and checking their certifications to work on site

* Ensure all work completed is within budget

* Provide detailed costings for invoice/quotes

* Promote company and acquire new maintenance works

* Manage and attend out of hours maintenance when required

Skills and Experience

* Experience managing and motivating a maintenance team

* Background in property management sector desirable

* Able to monitor individual performance and take appropriate action when dealing with performance related issues

* Proven experience in dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors in a professional manner

* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel

* Ability managing workers across multiple disciplines is highly desirable

* Full, clean UK driving licence
