CNC Setter/Operator – Precision Engineering
Location: Leeds
Pay Rate: £15.89 per hour
Hours: 37 per week, day shift
A leading precision engineering firm in Leeds is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced projects involving high-performance materials, all within a modern and professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.
Work with Fanuc controls to ensure optimal performance.
Machine exotic and hard-to-process materials, understanding their specific requirements.
Interpret technical drawings for accurate machine setups.
Collaborate with the quality inspection team to uphold exacting standards.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a precision engineering environment.
Proficiency with Fanuc or Haas controls and a good understanding of G & M codes.
Experience machining exotic materials such as titanium or Inconel (highly desirable).
Background in CNC milling or turning—candidates with expertise in either will be considered.
Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to maintaining high productivity and quality.
