PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER***
We are urgently on the hunt for an experienced office-based Bookkeeper with good working knowledge of Xero to work on a part-time basis for a busy and rapidly expanding business. Note this role is part-time for about 20 hours a week spread across 5 mornings. This is a zero hours contract for a minimum of 6 months however there is a strong chance it will be ongoing.
Hours 8.30am-12noon with a possibility to extend these hours.
Salary c.£15ph
Key responsibilities for the Bookkeeper will include,
Using Xero to process purchase invoices and credit notes
Produce supplier payments list and maintain a clean and tidy purchase ledger
Process employee expenses
Process bank transactions
Monitor and update billing software
Produce sales invoices and maintain sales ledger
Credit control - issue statements and copy invoices, chase outstanding debts
Provide general administrative support as requiredThe ideal Bookkeeper will need the following,
Solid previous bookkeeping experience essential
A good working knowledge of using Xero
Proficient user of Word, Excel, Outlook
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Professional verbal/written communication skills required
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle, free on-site parkingThis role would suit a Bookkeeper with a flexible, 'can do' approach who is available immediately and able to commit to working 5 mornings a week
