Senior Java Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a multi-year government project. This role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality Java-based solutions within a modern microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java applications within a microservices architecture.
Work with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) to enhance service communication and observability.
Implement containerized solutions using Docker.
Develop and optimize the data layer with technologies such as Hibernate and JPA.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across services and components.
Contribute to solution design and system architecture decisions.

Key Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java development within microservices environments.
Hands-on experience with Service Mesh (e.g., Istio) - essential.
Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker.
Solid experience with Hibernate, JPA, and data layer implementations. - essential.
Exposure to front-end technologies is a plus.
Experience delivering scalable, high-performance applications in an Agile environment.
