We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering & Retail Supervisor to join our team. This role blends operational duties with supervisory responsibilities, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience.
What You Will Do:
Lead and inspire: Supervise and mentor our Hospitality Team Members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure smooth operations: Oversee daily catering and retail operations, ensuring efficient service delivery across all outlets, including vending services.
Maintain high standards: Monitor food and service quality, address customer feedback, and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Collaborate effectively: Work closely with the kitchen team, including the Head Chef and Senior Chef de Partie, to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Champion customer service: Provide outstanding customer service, handling queries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Manage resources: Assist with stock control, ordering, and help maintain front-of-house equipment.
Prioritise safety: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
Contribute to special events: Support catering needs for internal functions, external events, and college lettings.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience: Experience in catering and/or retail service delivery, including staff supervision and stock management. Experience working with young people (16-19 age range) is desirable.
Qualifications: Level 3 or higher qualification in catering, hospitality, and/or retail, or equivalent demonstrable experience. A current Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is essential, and a willingness to work towards Level 3 is highly desirable.
