SaferHandCare is a dedicated provider of high-quality care for children and young people, offering tailored support to help them achieve positive outcomes. Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children who need it most.
We are now seeking a compassionate, experienced, and results-driven Registered Manager to lead our 8 bed Learning Disabilities Residential Children's Home and ensure we deliver outstanding care that meets and exceeds regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children and young people in our care.
* Lead, manage, and inspire a team of dedicated staff, ensuring they are supported and motivated to deliver exceptional care.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations, and the Quality Standards.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their personal growth and emotional development.
* Manage budgets, resources, and operational activities efficiently.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, parents, and guardians.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential care setting.
* A thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Ability to manage challenging situations with resilience and professionalism.
