Taking details from customers, gathering evidence, and collecting documents
Checking that the claim is covered by the policy and that premiums have been paid
Providing guidance on the claims process and explaining why a claim may not be covered

Keeping records of claim status, monitoring progress, and investigating fraudulent claims Key Skills and Experience of a Claims Handler:

Previous experience in either Motor, Employers Liability or Public Liability Claims
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate are required
Fantastic listening skills and an empathetic nature are essential for this role
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
