Field Based Merchandiser and Trainer in Burton upon Trent - CV-Library

An exciting opportunity has arisen within an enterprising company based in Burton on Trent. They’re seeking a confident professional to work at exhibitions and at client sites as a Field Based Merchandiser and Trainer.

Duties:

* Demonstrate and inform customers of the features and benefits of products to a high standard

* Arrive at customers depots in good time to set up the demonstration van

* Clean and generally keep display stands in good working condition

* Assemble display stands and POS, banners, and literature

* Book and organise overnight accommodation whilst keeping within the company expenditure boundaries

* Rebox and pack stock on shelfs in store

* Training customers employees and management staff

* Daily and weekly maintenance of the display van and generally keeping display stands in good condition

* Deal with customer queries in a courteous and efficient manner

* Ensure company policy of phone answering is maintained (maximum 3 rings). where possible if not doing presentations

* Daily and weekly planning of your diary electronically on your laptop/ iPad and sharing it with all sales staff

* Monthly submission of expenses

* Daily records of customers contacted via the electronic sheet provided/CRM system

As the Field based Merchandiser and Trainer will involve being out on the road and staying in hotels, plus the occasional weekend may be needed, so you must be flexible. You will cover the whole of the UK, and you will plan your diary and calendar yourself. Working hours depend on your diary but standard working week will be 40 hours. Hotels, fuel and food is fully covered by the company.

In return you will be offered a salary of £25,000 per year, a company van and fuel card
