Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Depot Supervisor to join our team, with the potential to progress quickly into a Depot Manager role. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily depot operations, ensuring timely and efficient logistics processes.

* Lead and motivate a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and support personnel to achieve performance targets.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, particularly in healthcare product handling.

* Manage stock levels, inventory, and inbound/outbound shipments.

* Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement operational improvements.

* Develop schedules and allocate resources to meet customer and business demands.

* Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for review.

* Support staff training and development to foster a high-performing team.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or depot management is advantageous but not essential.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

* Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulations, particularly in logistics or healthcare.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

* Good IT skills, including proficiency in warehouse or logistics software.

* Full UK driving license (desirable).
