Job Description

The Project

As a Site Engineer, you will carry out setting out and engineering duties on groundworks & civils projects across Yorkshire, the Humber and Lincolnshire.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

CSCS Card
Driving Licence
HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Excellent communication skills both written and verbalFor this role it is desirable that you hold the following skills & experience below;

Experienced as a Setting Out / Site Engineer on Groundworks & Civils projects in the UK

The Role

Job Title: Site Engineer
Duration: Permanent
Reporting to: Site Manager

Duties

Supervising Works
Attend in-house progress meetings
Setting up and maintaining site control
Setting Out Sites and Organising Facilities
Ensuring compliance with works standards
Checking deliveries before being signed for
Setting out and surveying of the site
To attend Team Briefs & carry out briefings when needed
Aid in organising and supervise temporary works when required
Setting out for drainage, foundations, pipes, kerbs, roads & RC structures
Checking and Preparing Site Reports, Designs and Drawings
Liaising With Clients, Subcontractors and Other Professional Staff
Ensure work is completed to the correct quality
Ensure site progress pictures are taken and filed during each stake of the development
