Senior Architectural Technician Job in Sevenoaks, Kent
Our client is an employee-owned architectural practice that now has a Senior Architectural Technician job available. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on residential development projects. The role will involve contributing to a variety of residential schemes, from large-scale housing developments to bespoke, high-end homes. This employee-owned, multidisciplinary practice, with two offices and over 20 staff, offers architecture, building surveying, and project management services. With a strong project pipeline, including residential developments and healthcare schemes, they are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their residential team.

Role & Responsibilities
Take a lead role in the running of projects
Projects would focus on residential developments on behalf of housing developers
Work on the production of technical drawing packages
Budget estimates. Specify materials and products, write work descriptions, and prepare preliminary documents
Design presentation materials like boards and layouts
Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and other relevant laws
Assess risks and create Health and Safety Plans according to regulations
Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with drawings and issue instructions as needed
Organize drawings properly and back up computer files monthly
Measure existing buildings on-site as required for projects.
Required Skills & Experience
Possess a minimum of 4 years in practice experience
Confident in the running of projects
Skilled in the use of Auto-CAD
Revit knowledge is advantageous
Current knowledge of UK regulations
Experience in UK based residential is essential
Developer led project experience is highly desirable.

Salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience
