IT Service Desk Manager required in Westbury.
Starting salary up to £45,000 per annum pending experience.
40-hour week between the hours 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Fantastic long-term career prospects with a multi-award winning dealer group operating for over 50+ years.A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for an IT Service Desk Manager to join our client’s multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group based out of their head office in Westbury.
Reporting to the IT Manager and our client's senior management team, as the IT Service Desk Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT service desk, ensuring that support services are provided efficiently, effectively, and in line with business needs. This role involves leading and managing a team of service desk analysts, driving continuous improvement in customer service, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The IT Service Desk Manager will play a key role in implementing ITIL best practices, managing escalations, and serving as the primary point of contact for all IT service-related inquiries.
To be eligible you will have worked in a similar IT support role with experience of 1st and 2nd line support and the ability to explain technical issues clearly and simply to non-technical people. You will be able to explain technical issues clearly and simply to non-technical people and have experience using IT systems including MS Office 365 programs regularly in a business environment and an understanding of IP and networking. Any experience using the Keyloop Autoline Rev8 DMS system would be highly desirable but isn't essential. You will have excellent customer service skills gained in a busy work environment and be able to prioritise and manage tasks. Any computing/IT support qualifications, Microsoft Certified Professional accreditations, or experience working in the motor trade would be highly beneficial but isn't essential.
