Sewing Machinist

Location: Hadleigh, Suffolk

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday

Salary: £23,500 Per Annum

Duration: Permanent

We are representing a family-run manufacturing business and are looking for a Sewing Machinist / Seamstress to join their Soft Furnishings team. If you have a passion for fabrics and crafts and take pride in producing high-quality products, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Duties Will Include:

* Work from printed sales orders to create curtains, blinds, cushions and tableware.

* Follow production orders indicating specifications and measurements.

* Assist with creating new products.

* Inspect finished items to ensure that work is of the highest quality.

* To operate within and adhere to the Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of the role.

What we are looking for:

* Knowledge of curtain making and blinds

* Competent seamstress

* Experience in making soft furnishings

* High attention to detail

* Strong communication skills.
