This role is in the structural engineering team of a leading consultancy. They are based in Devon, and you can work almost fully remotely, with just a few visits to the regional office each month. You can choose to work from home or another office in the region for the rest of the time.

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with previous experience working on building structures or large infrastructure projects. You’ll be a Senior Structural Engineer looking to step up or already be working as a Principal Structural Engineer.

There’s scope for progression here. Succession planning is being made for the existing leadership team and they’re looking for the next leaders to make the step up.

What’s needed for this Principal Structural Engineer role?

Previous experience working in a consultancy in the UK.
Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE would be preferred, or they can help you get there if you are progressing!
Experience producing structural designs for building structures or infrastructure works (heavy civils, highway and bridge structures, retaining walls, etc.) Want to know more?
