What you'll be doing;
The Creative Lead will oversee the progress of creative projects and make important decisions on the visual direction of the project whilst preserving brand attributes. The lead will set the style and the pace for projects, with support from the creative assistant. This role will be split as follows: 20% ideation, 10% line management, and 75% hands-on creative time. Ultimately, the lead will help us build and maintain a strong and cohesive brand both online and offline.
As part of the UK Marketing Team, you will be responsible for creating innovative marketing campaigns across various mediums including digital, print, events and exhibitions to support the sales team in achieving their targets by increasing awareness and perception of the Veolia brand.
You will also work on ad hoc design projects as they arise within the business.
Following PDP plans to self-develop marketing skills
Supporting the Marketing Leads in project managing marketing campaigns and ensuring the Head of Marketing is informed and consulted
Managing expectations of projects and working to a deadline to support the entire team
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives when starting a new project.
Contributing ideas to the wider team to support the set strategy
Maintaining strong relationships with fellow communication teams
Keeping abreast of group brand updates and ensuring our creative is on-brand
Upskilling to meet the expanding needs of the creative team
Follow strict internal processes for creative projects
Responsible for keeping up to date with the latest creative and design campaigns
Driving our sustainability message via design and keeping a consistent brand appearance that champions ecological transformation
Monitoring the creative team's cost savings and monthly reporting
What we're looking for;
Degree or equivalent in graphic design
Minimum 3 years creative experience
Must be able to manage projects and interpret business needs in a creative style
Must have an eye for detail and keen to try out new things
Knowledge and experience with software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Figma
Ability to manage workload to strict SLAs as underwritten by the design process
Previous management role with people management skills desirable
