Social Worker - Specialist Adolescent Service Hub (SASH)

Hertfordshire County Council is dedicated to supporting vulnerable adolescents and their families. Join our Specialist Adolescent Service Hub (SASH) team and contribute to delivering life-changing support for young people aged 11-17 facing complex challenges, including family breakdown, exploitation, gang involvement, and homelessness.
Your Role:
As a Social Worker in the SASH team, you will:
Conduct assessments for adolescents at risk of harm or homelessness.
Develop collaborative care plans with families and professionals.
Safeguard adolescents from exploitation, abuse, or criminal activity.
Provide tailored support for adolescents in the youth justice system.
Coordinate services to enhance wellbeing and resilience.What You Need:
Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
Experience in statutory social work, ideally with adolescents.
Strong knowledge of legislation and social work practice.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Resilience, empathy, and sound decision-making under pressure.
A UK driving licence and vehicle (preferred).What We Offer:
