CNC Laser Sales Estimator

Level – Mid Entry
Salary – 35-40k per annum DOE
Hours – 42.5 hours per week

An excellent opportunity to join a small team in a growing SME, family run business. The company pride themselves on the quality of bespoke goods offering an end to end laser cutting, pressing and fabricating service to the UK and international market. We are currently recruiting for a CNC Laser Sales Estimator.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and an thorough understanding of customer service requirements. Being adept in the interpretation of technical drawings with a high calibre of attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities for this CNC Laser Sales Estimator role;

• Create detailed quotations from customer drawings/models for existing & new customers maintaining a high standard of service
• Maintain/improve on existing customer relationships & develop new customers in order to improve the service macs laser offers its customer base.
• Converting successful quotes to orders & producing workflow job sheets along with production drawings
• Communicating with customers about order progress
• Supporting all members of the team in growing the business in line company’s vision.

Required skills/experience for this CNC Laser Sales Estimator role;
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Outgoing & friendly both in person & confident telephone manner
• Able to read & interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational, numeracy & computer skills
• Hard working & trustworthy
• Knowledge of laser cutting & sheet metal

Desired skilles/experience for this CNC Laser Sales Estimator role;
• Knowledge of CAD design systems (e.g. solidworks, radan, sigmnest)
• SAGE 50 Experience
• Driving License
• Fabrication and press brake experience
