Project Engineer – CCTV
A leading security solutions provider in the South West, specialising in high-quality intruder alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV systems, is looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join its growing team. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Project Engineer will install, commission, and maintain security systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial properties. You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for system improvements.
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
Conduct on-site analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and propose solutions.
Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements based on customer needs.
Work collaboratively with a team and independently in the field.
Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry.
Working knowledge of Honeywell Galaxy and Texecom equipment.
CSCS card and essential health and safety knowledge.
Emergency First Aid certification.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong initiative, problem-solving abilities, and customer-focused approach.
