IT Project Manager in Gloucester - CV-Library

We are looking for an IT Project Manager with experience delivering into the public sector for our client in Gloucester. Intial 6 month contract paying up £350 per day with 2 days on site per week.

What will you be doing?

Lead a variety of projects across the organisation, ranging from small tactical initiatives to large-scale strategic programmes.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and initiation through to execution and closure.
Develop comprehensive project plans, setting clear timelines, deliverables, and KPIs.
Oversee project budgets, ensuring spending aligns with approved financial plans.
Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands with team capacity.

What were looking for;

Demonstrated experience managing IT projects end-to-end, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
Understanding of IT systems, software development processes, or infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
History of leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Strong people management skills, including mentoring and motivating team members. What's on offer?
