We currently have a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Operative - Bathroom Fitter to join our in-house Construction Company, Property Plus. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative - Bathroom Fitter in the Planned team, you will carry out all the traditional duties of a multi-skilled bathroom fitter to carry out the removal and installation of bathrooms. The role will include wet trades, but also including carpentry work to boxing, bath panels, studding, skirtings, and doors plus related finishes. A primary part of this work will involve wall and floor tiling to an excellent standard, including installing shower trays and baths.
Skills and experience required:
* Completion of nationally recognised trade qualification or an approved certificated qualification (or time experience)
* Working knowledge of current building regulations, construction industry safety regulations, relevant British standards and codes of practice.
* Previous experience of bathroom / shower room installations.
* Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment.
* Have multi-skilled experience i.e. completing different trade work
* Outstanding customer care skills
* Full UK Driving Licence as travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire will be part of the role
