Location: UK-wide (variable travel distances)

Job Description
Our client is looking for a driven and knowledgeable individual to join as a Field Service and Training Specialist. This role involves delivering technical support, servicing air conditioning units, and providing City & Guilds training. Travel and overnight stays are a key part of this position, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Field Service and Training Specialist

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably.

* Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime for customers.

* Conduct installation checks and commissioning of new air conditioning units.

* Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use and care of their equipment.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and maintenance logs.

* Monitor and maintain stock levels on company vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and spare parts are available.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations during all service activities.

* Participate in regular training to stay updated on the latest industry practices, equipment, and regulations.

* Travel to customer sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Skills of a Field Service and Training Specialist

* Strong understanding of air conditioning systems.

* City & Guilds mobile air conditioning qualification or equivalent.

* Previous sales experience, ideally in the automotive or agricultural sectors.

* High level of literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

* Strong networking and negotiation abilities.
