* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or timelines.

Project Budgeting:

* Develop comprehensive project budgets based on detailed estimates.

* Track and document changes in project scope, adjusting budgets as necessary.

* Provide financial forecasts and budget updates to project managers and clients.

Bid Preparation and Submission:

* Compile and submit competitive bids for project proposals.

* Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate cost data.

* Review and evaluate bid specifications and requirements for completeness and clarity.

Collaboration and Communication:

* Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project details.

* Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to validate project requirements and scope.

* Maintain clear communication with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting:

* Prepare detailed reports, including project budgets, progress reports, and cost analysis.

* Maintain organized records of all project documentation, bids, and estimates.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in construction estimating or related field.

* Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and local building codes.

* Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst) and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

* Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).

Work Environment:

* May require overtime during peak project bidding phases.

The Estimator plays a crucial role in the financial success of construction projects by ensuring cost-effective project planning and execution. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with strong analytical skills and knowledge of construction processes.
