We are looking for a Senior EC&I Engineer to join our Substation Replacement Project (Sub 15) team in Birchwood Park or Westlakes Ind. Park. (the role is hybrid)

This is a strategically linked electrical infrastructure project that aims to provide a safe, secure and resilient supply to all reliant downstream feeds by initiating a Substation replacement programme, for which Sub 15 is the first one being implemented.

The role will involve

* Delivery of engineering design in support of Substation replacement for the provision of 11kV Substation Module(s), Switchboard and Ancillaries.

* Production and checking of engineering deliverables to support design development through concept, preliminary and detail design phases

* Site Surveys of electrical assets.

* Support the production of engineering documentation and drawings, including but not limited to; Site Survey Reports, Single Line Diagrams (including protection diagrams), Cable Routing, Block Cable Diagrams, CDM Risk Assessments, Cable Calculations Cable Cards, Outline Installation Method Statements, CAE, input to optioneering, etc.

* BIM input where required

* Support to Single as well as Multi - Discipline Design Review & Production of Minutes of Meetings.

Requirements

* Degree qualified CE&I Engineer (or equivalent through enhanced experience)

* Knowledge and experience in project delivery throughout the complete project lifecycle

* Familiarity with a range of available CAE technologies and techniques

* Good knowledge of design, construction and commissioning of 11kV Substations, HV and LV cable routing and associated control cabling.
