The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for Vehicle Build Technicians / Master Technicians to join their client who is a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Andover.

Overview of the Role

* Vehicle Build Technicians / Master Technicians

* Salary - £ Competitive DOE

* Holidays: 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

* Pension

* Location – Andover

Responsibilities

* Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company

* Assemble, test, and validate vehicle systems and components to meet quality and performance standards

* Work on Manufacturing and building a wide range of cars - (classic, current and race)

* Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting on vehicle systems to resolve issues

* Work closely with engineers to support prototype builds, production trials ready for full production builds

* Maintain accurate records of build processes, changes, and test results

* Adhere to company safety protocols and best practices

* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated

* Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and build processes#

* Vehicle diagnostics and calibration

* Service and Maintenance on vehicles

* Vehicle mechanical work

* Building of Restomods and OEM vehicles from the ground up, which include working on engines and gearboxes

Essential Skills

* Hands-on experience in vehicle assembly or a related field

* Relevant qualifications in a relevant subject i.e NVQ, Manufacturing or Engineering subject

* Experience of working on Race Cars, Restomods and OEM vehicles from the ground up, which include working on engines and gearboxes

* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

* Familiarity with vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.)

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

* Proficient in using tools and diagnostic equipment

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

* Ability to work effectively in a team and under minimal supervision

* Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.

Desirable Skills

* Working knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA process

* Composites knowledge
