Senior CAD Technician in Manchester - CV-Library

Our client, a prominent consultancy within the rail sector, is currently seeking a Senior Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilising software such as Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD 3D to prepare detailed design drawings for rail projects
Collaborating with engineers and other team members to develop high-quality technical documentation
Maintaining and managing project files and documents in an organised and efficient manner
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures
Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
Identifying and suggesting improvements to technical processes and methodologies
Mentoring and providing guidance to junior technicians as required

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Revit, Microstation, and AutoCAD 3D
Experience in the rail sector, with a solid understanding of rail design and construction principles
Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in a related environment
