The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in food manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing teams, implementing quality assurance processes, and driving technical improvements across the business.
The Role
As Technical Services Manager, you will:
* Manage and lead a technical team, ensuring effective collaboration and support across all departments.
* Develop and implement quality assurance systems, standards, and protocols to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues in the production process, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
* Oversee the training and development of staff to enhance their technical knowledge and capabilities.
* Monitor and report on technical performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure technical requirements are met and to resolve any technical concerns.
The Candidate:
The successful Technical Services Manager will:
* Have experience dealing with specifications.
* Have worked with customer portals previously.
* Have some experience dealing with the Big 4 retailers.
* Have some management experience.
